Are you as excited as I am?
Hosted by Cecily and Lolli
P.S.S. The theme for this weeks "you capture" was silence... check out Beth's blog at "I should be folding laundry" to see more.
I made more skirts... top left for my lil' (16 yr old) friend Abby, top right for the girl, blue one for Ishee (belated birthday present) and the black and white one for me.
And, it snowed.| From abjacabjacal |
I tagged along with the super cute husband to Jackson Hole the other day. The weather wasn't the greatest but at least I didn't feel like a lame-o wearing my jacket around like I do most other days. Yes, I wear a jacket every time the temperature gets under 80. Got a problem with that? Just for the record, it was 45 degrees in Jackson.
Dang, where does all this gray hair keep coming from... Want to see more of our little daytrip, including Mormon Row, West Piney, and Fall Creek? Clickity on this link... 52 Photowalks (don't worry, the husband was way more excited to be spending the day with me than he looks... I think).
And went to the inlaws house for presents and caramel flan my sister in law bought off some Mexican lady she works with and six kinds of Dreyers icecream.
We had the party at the inlaws because my husband got a wild hair and moved all the appliances into the dining room. Right after he gave me permission to buy him tile to redo the floor.
Because he's a glutton for punishment.
As if turning, well, older wasn't punishment enough already. Right?
Friday afternoon.
Saturday morning.
Saturday afternoon.
Monday night.
We did just enough to get the appliances out of the dining room.
The goal is to finish this weekend.
With or without Toby's help.
I suggested we let Toby have it.
The Ish drew up some Soduku puzzles and left them by the front door.... My 16 year old son did not go to the homecoming dance.
Just the pathetic game.
Which we lost.
Of course.
We made him go just to pick up his sister and her friend. I doubt he would have gone otherwise.
He's so anti-social, I'm surprised the kids at school had the guts to even paint this on my his truck!
And now, a personal note for my sister....
The boy told me you gave him permission to run over my tree. HA!
Don't you know I "want" a whole forest of Quaking Aspens in my yard?
Anything to block out the view of the house across the street.
The one where they brought in semi truckload after semi truckload of nasty potato dirt.
Nice.
I'm told he's been sent a letter for violating every smell ordinance known to mankind. Plow under the stinky dirt or else. Either that, or the county was just telling my mother in law that to shut her up. It could happen.
Please comply, Mr. Neighbor dude. Don't make us hate you any more than we already do. My aspens aren't going to grow THAT fast! And P.S.... Happy Birthday super cute husband... you look even better than the day I married you. Thanks for being my husband.
