I heart pouting kids faces

I live with the queen of pouting. I tell her she is going to have permanent creases in her forehead from always furrowing her brow, but she doesn't believe me. Oddly enough, it's hard to capture her in a pouting moment because she is good at hiding it and running for her life when the camera comes out. However, last summer, I was able to capture one glorious moment. She was pouting only because I wanted to take her picture wearing this old Halloween costume. She hid under it next to the porch. I had to promise that I had put the camera away so she'd look at me. She still hasn't forgivven me for it.

How fun to have a new category this week! Pets! I picked my favorite shot from last summer. it was a blazing hot day and my sister in law had told us that the horses loved to play in the sprinkler. So my son went out and turned the sprinkler on them and they were not at all happy, especially "Joker". His best friend, "three" kissed it all better, though.
