Gratitude...

Today I am grateful:

1. that my inlaws are building their house and not mine! OY.

2. for the moisture we continue to receive, even if it does come in the form of snowflakes and more snowflakes.

3. for weekends and sleeping in as late as I feel like.

4. for a husband who honors his priesthood and can be the one to ordain our son to the office of a teacher today at approximately 3:30 p.m.

5. for the Hinckley challenge, even though I'm 35 pages behind, it gets me reading the scriptures for more often than I probably would without it.

6. for cough medicine that comes in the form of thin strips so even my hack-a-lot Ishee will take it.

7. for a mother in law who feeds my kids on Saturday nights so dh and I can have a night on the town.

Today I am thankful:

1. For Public libraries.
2. That my husband hasn't said anything about me doing nothing but sitting and reading a book for two days straight.
3. For sweet little seven year olds that cry on my shoulder, because at least she will tell me what's bothering her, even if it is trivial in nature.
4. That I know nothing about laying tile so I can't help at the house next door.
5. To be a stay at home mom.
