I have three rings I regularly wear.
My wedding ring, my replacement wedding ring, and my CTR ring.
Three months ago I had to have my wedding ring cut off my finger.
I was devastated.
Just one more crummy thing to add to my already difficult year.
After Christmas, I took it in to have it fixed. Brand new year, lets start off with something positive, shall we?
When I got it back, they told me the band was really thin. It was already thin before, but now, it was REALLY thin. So thin, it looks as though it could bend and break with little or no effort. It needs a whole new shank, and with the price of gold these days, that isn't going to be cheap.
Do I even dare wear it or do I put it back in it's box for safe keeping?
