52 Photowalks - Week 5

For lack of something better to do, instead of coming home for lunch one day this week, I grabbed my camera and went for a little drive around the "block".... past the giant American flag (on my way to get a Bambino to eat along the drive)...
Across the dry bed on the west side of the little "community" I grew up in called Labelle...

Past mom's house...
The final loop is over the drybed once more, on the east end of Labelle, on my way back to school. I want to make this loop at least once a month, so I can see how these places change throughout the year.

One of these days, I hope to see more color around these parts ... something besides this beautiful shade of dormant, dead, and white.

What's the difference between a duck? One of it's legs is the same.

I came home that afternoon to fog... lots and lots of fog... we could barely see the house across the street.

And finally, the moon was SO beautiful the next morning, I couldn't help but grab my camera and attempt a photo. Unfortunately, it didn't turn out like I had hoped, but that's what happens when you are standing at the back door at 6:45 a.m. in somewhere around zero temperatures in your bathrobe, just having got out of the shower.
