The worst grade ever made

It was a day
When the sky was gray,
My teacher
Are creature
She gave us our last test.
It was about how birds make a nest.
AHHH!
I knew I could fail
And I wanted to bail,
Then she handed out all of the pages.
When I was done,
I handed it in,
And I waited for all of the grading to begin.
Oh no!
Finally, she handed out each grade.
I looked and said "this is the worst grade ever made."
I was very sad
And I felt really bad
And my mom was so mad that she cried.
The end.

My 12 yr old has since informed me that she is actually the one who wrote the poem (no surprise, she is an aspiring poet) and the 8 yr old is the one who took the credit. Poem is not based on a true story. LOL
