Project #4... and #5

I have two projects going today. Don't be too impressed. I'll explain at the end of the week as to the purpose of all these projects, and really, one of these projects was a last minute necessity.

Project #4 involves going visiting teaching. I went this morning, and one of my ladies asked me if I wanted some fish as she has a couple of neon tetra's that are giving her fits, eating the guppies she's raising to feed to this other shark like fish she has. Remember a few months ago when our goldfish finally kicked the bucket?

I have promised my kids weekly that we would go one of these days and get some new fish for our tank. I even promised the cat. She's been lonely without her friends to entertain her. Now I have FREE ones! Yeah for me!

However, it came with a project... cleaning out the fish tank, and what a chore that has been! Goldfish are disgusting creatures. I hope the tropical fish are much cleaner.

Project #5 was the on schedule project for today... nothing clashes more than a cute brown bag with my cute black coat... so it was time to make a black one. It is some of my best and worst work! Best because I finally figured out how to make one, and worst because I had a bad needle and my thread broke every six inches. Took me twice as long to make it, too. But it turned out good. I like it!!!

How about you?

Now I need to go pick up my fish from the neighbors!!!

We had tropical fish. They were clean as long as the big sucker fish stayed alive. But our fish were mean bullies and kept eating the algae suckers. We didn't clean fish tank either, just set it on the curb on trash day. Gross.

I lurve the bag!

Sometimes I carry a brown bag with my navy coat. And sometimes I carry a black bag when I'm wearing brown shoes. I know I'm a fashion don't, but it's such a pain (and sometimes I don't have time) to switch all my stuff from purse to purse!
