It's almost mothers day. That means it was time for the annual mother/daughter activity at the church. Because it wasn't on a Saturday morning, we actually went this year. Besides, who could pass up the opportunity to dress like my favorite 10 year old? Lucky for me, her most favorite outfit in the whole wide world is an Aeropostale t-shirt and a pair of jeans. That is an outfit I can do, especially if it means a trip to the mall for matching colorful T-shirts!
We had a good time. We painted each others nails (and I even resisted the temptation to repaint mine when I got home - we went with a beautiful shade of orange to match our shirts) and made modest outfits out of newspaper and other "stuff". While the other girls ripped theirs off the second the "fashion show" was over, Ishee insisted upon wearing her's home. Do you hear Project Runway just screaming my name??? I think I have a real future there...

Now if someone would just explain why my hair insists upon going this shade of red with perfectly placed grey highlights no matter what color I put on it.

Sounds like you are an adventurous mother. I used to do those kinds of things with my son when he was little. Orange is my favourite colour. And it looks good on you too!
