How else would I have heard about it?
On our road trip to northern Idaho last summer, we paid a visit to this quaint little town. My husband wanted to show me where it is he goes with is buddies every couple of years and why he drives so many hours for a round of golf.
Impressive, isn't it?
Yeah, I didn't think so either, but then again, I'm not a golfer.
I was more interested in what was to be seen around town.
Up on the hill was the most awesome cemetery I'd ever seen. I'm not a fan of cemeteries... but this one was so awesome, I told my husband we had to move here just so I could be buried here someday.
So we hitched our horse downtown...
And went house hunting.
There it is.
This is my building.
I'm going to buy it and renovate it and we'll live happily ever after....
LOOK! It even comes with a grand piano! Where do I sign???
Can I have it? Please? Please? Please?
Then you could golf at Old Works
Every.
Single.

DEfinitely quaint, but way to far from home. Besides there are quaint cemetaries in warmer places. Have you ever been to Monterey?
I agree, most quaint. Especially love the pic of the piano./
ROG, ABC Wednesday team
This was a nice q trip :)
Happy ABC!
I'm not sure "Quaint" is the first adjective that comes to mind when I think of Montata, but these photos tell another story! Great post.
Well I might be tempted to move there just so I could live in a town named after a snake. Maybe not, I'm not a fan of golf, although I do like crazy golf.
