In case you missed week 6,
it's here...
I'm doin' all right this summer with taking a picture every day. If I keep it up, I might just get into some sort of habit and be able to do it for a whole year next year. Maybe. Don't get your hopes up, people (*cough*
Chris *cough*).
In the meantime, we'll stick to the present.
Thursday: the awesome husband took us camping, which you can read all about in my
52 Photowalks - Week 27. The girl was just elated that the jiffy pop company invented a popcorn that, even though it kind of got burned, it could be cooked over the fire (though not recommended according to the package - which is probably why it burned). Hello, my name is "the girl", and I am addicted to popcorn.

Friday: The Ish found camping to be so boring, the most interesting thing she could do was sit and write the word "bored" over and over and over again until we got sick of her and took her home.

Saturday: We enjoyed the beautiful fireworks display in Idaho Falls with the extended family. It was a nice, peaceful event, especially since the kids all sat in the back of grandma's pickup truck and let the awesome husband and I enjoy it alone in the back of ours (along with half of town who was sitting next to us along the road). I didn't take my tripod and we were a long ways away and I'm still adjusting to this new camera... not bad for my first attempt. Right?

Sunday: My brother in law and son put on a magnificant fireworks show in our own front yard, or rather, the inlaws own front yard. But since we live next door, we can claim it as our own. Right?

Monday: I took the husband to the fabric store, because he's an awesome husband who will do anything for me, including take me to the fabric store. You just wait and see what I have in mind for all this fabric. It looks awesome. At least in my mind.

Tuesday: It takes a pro to be able to hit off your knees... and we... are not pro's. But we like to pretend (and by we, I mean them... I'm just the cameraman).

Wednesday: It was touch and go there for awhile, but Cody bear survived major surgery to his neck. Immediately into his recovery, the Ish lovingly picked him up and while twisting his head said "will his head pop off if I attempt a 360 on him?" And she wonders why I have to keep sewing his head back on?

Thursday: And here's what I had in mind with that fabric... oh yeah, it's been just me and my sewing machine today...

and this here turkey... it's July, but when you are craving turkey, you cook turkey.

The end.

Those skirts are super cute!! Makes me wish I had ANY sewing talent at all. :)
Um...is that turkey supposed to be blue? Please tell me that's a combination of the bag and oven light, or something, lol.
love your skirts, I'm a fabricholic too. Looks like you had the perfect week. Make it a good one :)
What a week, you used your sewing machine, (you know they are possessed, that's why I avoid mine), took fireworks pictures and camped. The best part is you actually blogged them, something I have gotten way behind on.
Those firework shots are great...and you are "getting used to your camera?" Impressive.
The skirts you made are too cute. I love the bright fabrics.
