Summer Vacation - Week 6

It's been yet another busy week around the awesome household...

Friday: Full moon... it looked so awesome just coming up over the mountains, so I ran in the house and grabbed my camera and when I got back approximately 30 seconds later, it was already this high.
Saturday: The awesome husband finally hauled off the old washer out of the driveway. Rednecks we no longer are. I think. Thanks babe!
Saturday night: Wandered up to the college and found this adorable family to take a picture of. Okay, they asked me to do it. This is my big bro's family and his cute herd of relations... not to be confused with his herd of cows.
Sunday: We went for a drive up past the local ski hill to scope out a place to go camping. Just checking off another item from my bucket list: teach Ishee how to pee in the woods. She's afraid. VERY afraid.
Monday: I rewarded the awesome husband for hauling off that washer by letting him spend the day at Headwaters golf resort in beautiful Victor, Idaho, with the local pro and assistant pro's. Because he's just that awesome.
Tuesday: For that extra nine holes he played at Headwaters, he owed me some yardwork. Okay, so he didn't owe me... we planted pole beans for a change and they needed somewhere to climb.
Tuesday afternoon: I bought a new camera!!!! Oh yeah... I'm loving it... a Nikon D90. Prepare for massive amounts of pictures as I figure it out now.

Tuesday night: The awesome girl was asked by her friend Dexter to be a line judge at the first soccer game of the season. She was all put out, but hey, that's what you get for being friends with Dexter.
The athlete we were there to support is my cute little six year old niece, who has a warped fascination with headbands... and her mother, my sister in law, who hates herself and volunteered to be the coach of this ragamuffin team.
She did great until the other team scored a goal, and then she did this ... because she is the awesome neice...
And then she more or less "sat" the rest of the game.
During halftime, my niece Charm walked over and pointed out that her son was playing too... and I hadn't even noticed. I'm such a "great" aunt like that... and then I had to cheer for both teams!
When the game was almost over, I asked my niece if she loved soccer and she said "YES!" Um, sure ya do....
We got home just in time for this little micro burst to hit. My neighbor around the corner swears a tornado touched down in their yard. I've never seen it rain like that. There are three horses in this little pasture about 50 yards away from where I was standing, believe it or not.
Beat my poor petunias nearly to death...
And left the yard a mess, which is nothing new.
And now... we shall go camping.
