Dance Dance...

As we sit and watch shows like Dancing with the Stars and So you think you can dance, my girls always say to me, "I could do that!" Afterall, they make it look so easy.

However, my girls were born with two left feet just like their mother. Dancing is not in their genes.

That doesn't stop us from supporting the local high school dance team at their annual dance camp fund raiser where this year, my girls find out just how "not" easy it really is to be on a dancing reality show. (Did you see my neighbor on "So you think you can dance?" She made it to Vegas, woohoo, but was cut in the first round, darn it.)

Ishee loved every second of it, while the middle child considered it to be sheer torture. But then, Ishee's age group did a very simple dance geared towards six and seven year olds.

Whereas, her sisters age group did a hip hop dance much like the high school girls would perform during half time at a high school basketball game. It was WAY over their heads! My two left footed daughter... struggled immensely. She had fun, but was sure glad that this dance camp is only for the 12 and under age group. Darn it, she'll be too old to participate next year!

And if you are really hard up, you can always watch Ishee's fantastical performance... if you can find her, that is... if that darn girl in front of her would have just stayed out of the way....

I love the air guitar! (pony tails on her are so cute, too!) Great pictures!

E-mail me w/ the info on that song! I want the sheet music "Oh what do you do in the summer time" LOVE IT! Where do you find stuff like that? I mean - do you just fall upon it? Buy random CDs at the nearest LDS bookstore?

Cute as a button with those pigtails! But yeah, they should have had her in the front. She's just bitty!

I can't believe you made your girls participate in dancing, especially since she inherited the family two left feet. Shame on you. They do look cute though.

Middle daughter had some great height on that one split jump, though! Tell her I said that :)

It looked like lots of fun. Ishee needed to be in front -- dumb stage hog girl....
