The past six weeks have been, well, pretty busy.
Luckily, I have an iPhone to capture it all
(while my camera sits and collects dust).
Arilee asked a cute boy to the Harvest dance, but Nick was a dud of a date...
Ashlee was sick on Halloween and it was all she could do to put this fuzzy hat on, a little makeup, and go next door to grandma's house for some trick or treating.
Arilee and her BFF Chayse did "skull candy" makeup and went trick or treating with Chayse's sister.
Robbie turned 36 and we celebrated with Mrs. Powells cinnamon rolls
(our new favorite alternative to birthday cake).
I hosted dinner for eight kids for the harvest dance and I think I spent more time keeping the cat off the table than I did preparing for dinner. Cody cooked dinner - enchiladas and homemade spanish rice - and I cleaned. And fought with Toby. And cleaned some more. My house sparkled. Anything that didn't have an immediate home went into the laundry room with the door shut. Luckily, Arilee brought her friends through the laundry room so they could see it, too. 45 minutes after they arrived, they left, and Toby immediately jumped into the middle of the table. I was too tired to care.
Toby ate a box.
Too bad we can't train her to clean up after herself.
I made a tulle wreath.
Justin came home for a week for Thanksgiving break. It was sure nice to have him around for a few days, and not much had changed. Everybody sat around and played their video games. And wrestled.
We had Thanksgiving dinner at the inlaws house.
The kids burned a few calories doing yoga.
And they all played their ipods/ipads some more.
Justin did Arilee's hair.
Ashlee did her own.
That night, we played "garbage", which is the inlaws version of "Phase 10".
Uncle Merlin and Aunt Karen made a surprise visit, so we talked them into playing cards with us.
And... they played more video games at home.
Ashlee pretty much hung on Justin for the entire week he was home.
Toby helped put up the Christmas decorations.
I went with the girls to mother-daughter appreciation night for mutual.
Ashlee made a model of "Walt Disney" for a book report of a book she didn't read.
Actually, Arilee made the model.
I had a good hair day.
Yes, that is blog worthy.
You know those annoying people in Kmart who turn on all the noisy toys and then walk away?
That was us today.
Cody took us to Kiwi Loco for lunch
(after picking up his new suit at Ferrells - hopefully more about that one soon)

and Santa stopped by for a visit.
Fro-Yo's are healthy, right?
I noticed he didn't ask us what we wanted for Christmas....

And that was the past six weeks.
