As of July 2, my house has been here for 13 years. One of the first things I did after we moved in was take one of our old chairs we bought shortly after we got married (20 years ago in August) and recovered it so the cute husband would have a place to sit in the closet while he tied his shoes in the mornings.
He wore it completely out. Literally.
It has now been re-covered.
Will we get another 13 years out of our "new" chair?
I hope so.
