This is her $170 look.
This is how much it cost us to have her poor wounded paw looked at, shaved, cut open, and cleaned out.
Oh, and then there was the anesthesia.
And the antibiotic.
And the immunizations.
The first round anyway.
Is it too late to take her back to the Walmart parking lot?
Sucka.
P.S. My husband denies it all. He wouldn't pay a dime for a cat. Let alone $170.

Oh no!! I'd be a little upset about that. ;) It' all worth it in the end, right?
Kind of embarrassing to admit, but when our free black kitten got seriously injured a few weeks ago, I made the gut wrenching decision to do nothing. It went against my every instinct, but after talking to several other "country folks", they convinced me that it's part of the circle of life and cats come and go.
I really thought she was going to die. She wouldn't eat and her sister would hiss at her if she was anywhere near her.
and then...she got better. She is still injured and walks with a limp, but cats really do have nine lives!
You have joined our world, more money spent at the vets that at the doctors. Amazing how these critters work their way into our hearts.
