Know it all...

At school, we have this wall where the PTO ladies keep track of how many "box tops" each class has brought in. They have cute little race cars with each teachers name, followed by a finish line at the end of the hall. At the top of the wall is various "points" so they can move the car along the wall.

I was walking down with a little first grader today, who has been known to be one of the biggest trials of the school. He asked me what the numbers were for and I tried to explain the box tops and such and he just looked at me and said "I don't think so. What are the numbers really for?" After two or three attempts, I gave up and said "You know, I have no idea what the numbers are for." That shut him up finally. Then, he looked at me with the most serious look and said "I bet Jesus knows." You think so? I asked. "Yep," he replied. "Cause Jesus is a know it all."
