Right now...

Right now, I should be halfway to St. George.  Instead, I am cleaning my house for my piano tuner to come bright and early on Saturday morning, getting ready to attend my daughters production of "The untragedy of Romeo and Juliet" wherein she is playing Lady Capulet, and wondering what to take to the family dinner after my nephews mission farewell on Sunday.   Oh yeah, and instead of spending my mom's birthday with her, I'll spend Valentines day with my husband.  I guess he ought to have a turn every once in awhile.  Besides, my parents are coming back from their winter St. George home in a few weeks anyway.

In the meantime... the real reason for this post is not for me to complain about not going to St. George, but for me to complain about this new computer I let my husband buy me. Some husbands buy diamonds for their wives, he buys electronics whether you need them or not.

The mouse on this laptop ... hates me.   It is out of control and has a mind of it's own.  I need to figure out how to upload some ADHD medication to calm the dang thing down.  If it was a child, it would spend all day in time out.

Internet Explorer... hates me.   It also hates gmail, my school website, my google reader, my igoogle homepage, and pretty much everything in between.  I want to kick it in the shins.  I've downloaded Firefox, but I'm not sure I like it, either.

Windows 7... hates me, too.  It won't even give me the option of using the MSN browser, which is the ONLY browser I've ever used (and thus adding to my utter disdain of IE and Firefox).  I have no favorites anymore... so I sit on Facebook all day and wonder what the rest of the world is up to because I'm too lazy to transfer everything over from my old computer (which has been confinscated by my girls anyway).

However, both Windows 7 and IE do have some nifty little features I'm totally in like with, but that doesn't make up for the rest of the nuisances... like this freaking obnoxious mouse.....

Why couldn't he just buy me diamonds???

I'd settle for a computer, I'd even settle for diamonds. but I will probably really settle for dinner out at Wendys. He's so romantic.
