February 19 - The husband found out the night before he was supposed to go on a scout campout the next day. So I snuggled up in bed, all lonesome and tight, when I remembered I'd forgotten to take a picture. This is the best I could do. I may be lonely, but I do sleep with guns next to my pilla, so don't forget it! Even though I sleep crappy along, I slept better than my husband and son did... I actually SLEPT, unlike them. They spent half the night digging out some guy (in his slippers PJ's) out for a midnight rendezvous with his girlfriend (mostly in her birthday suit) who got stuck in the snow next to their campsite and the other half of the night freezing to death and wishing they'd just die in their sleep... if they could only get there. Good times.

And that... is where the month went to pot. I TRIED, I really did. I did good getting this far! It's just been one of those weeks! I did finish out the month on a high note... despite the crazyness going on the background, and the fact that we were so late to church: we all looked good (rare), we all matched (unintentional), and we were all willing to participate in family torture time (woohoo). With a smile! Mostly.

And that... pretty much concludes the month of February. I know it's not over yet, but you'll just have to get over it. I'm thinking next time I might have more luck if I used my cell phone camera since I have it with me wherever I go. Too bad it takes such crappy pictures... hmmmm.... I may just have to do that anyway. You would see a whole new side to my life, that is for sure.

Oh the joys of scout camping trips! :)
Your family torture time pic is fabulous!!!! That's some great way to end the month!
See...I'm totally over the fact that February's not over! :)
Love the family picture...everyone is look at the camera. We count that as a major success in my family!
Glad you slept well, sorry the others did not! Yo may not have gotten all the shots you want, but the picture of your family is wonderful!!!
Such a great picture of the family! You wouldn't even know it was torture time!!
What a cute family! :D
I advise the eleven year old scouts, and we're trying to plan a camp out.
I'm not a big camper, and the idea of hauling six eleven year old boys anywhere for more than an hour (much less a whole night) fills me with darkness. There's jut no way around it :)
Both of your pictures here are very nice. The "empty bed" shot really conveys loneliness, and you have a beautiful family
Don't give up on the pictures -- just pick up your camera and keep going!
You took more pictures than me. I have reallly cut back on my camera usuage. Life is just a bit white and cold and quiet.
What a memory for the guys on that scout trip, huh?
You should just get in the habit of carrying your camera everywhere.... I do, people always are wondering why I carry it everywhere, i just do, just in case.
That first picture is awesome!
What a beautiful family you have.
You have a lovely family.
