Photostory Friday - more of the month of December

It turns out that this month has been one filled with crazy busyness, pain, sickness, freezing cold weather, and me... not taking my camera anywhere I go so I have no variety in my pictures. Maybe next week, I'll do better.

Friday, December 4 - I never have to wonder where this kid is or what she's doing. If the heater is on... she's laying on this heat vent. And it's hers, all hers... don't go near it.

Saturday, December 5 - We did something new with our lights this year... added the red and blue bulbs. 'Twas a pain, but it turned out pretty nice. I'd show you the whole house, but that requires me stepping further away from the house than I was, and frankly, I don't want to freeze to death in these below zero temperatures we're having.

Sunday, December 6 - See... always a fan under her bum...

Monday, December 7 - I didn't put one decoration on the tree other than the lights. Between the girls rearranging it and the cat undecorating it... why bother?

Tuesday, December 8 - Spent many many hours on facebook. Couldn't do much else with this stupid pinched sciatica nerve I have going on in my back that has forced me to lay flat on my back for many many hours. Just so you know, however, between the chiropractor, anti-inflammatories, and muscle relaxers... I feel like a whole new woman!

Wednesday, December 9 - The kayak is done. Now it just needs a home besides the front of the garage.

Thursday, December 10 - The Ish spent the last two days puking and coughing because someone has to have something wrong with them every day at our house. She was finally feeling better, so she decided to pamper herself.

My goal next week? Take the camera when I leave the house at least once. I leave the house every single day ... I promise... it just doesn't show in my pictures.

I love the lights, I love the memories of curling up on the heater, I would't know what to do with a kayak, I this the Ish is perfect. (so is the boy, who grows and changes everyday so I don't recognize him)

Your tree looks nice I love how you got a good shot with nice twinkling lights. The dress over the heater shot is wonderful I remember claiming a vent in the winter too :) Her pampered shot, so fun!

The lights are very pretty with the red and blue added.

Too funny that the heating vent is hers. :D Her poor husband some day!! ;)

And the pampering is cute. :)

looks like the ish has the right idea. I think the tree looks great. If you want to wander down my road I’m home.

What a week! I like the idea of sitting on the heat vent, in fact, I hear one calling my name...

Ok, sitting on a vent to stay warm...genius! Thanks for the idea!

But your house pictures are so awesome! Who cares if you never leave the house?

Heat vent pictures make me itch. I spent one day, 4 hours north from me and couldn't take the dry air. I'm a tropics girl.

Your Christmas lights are beautiful. Outdoor lights are the one part of the holiday I absolutely can.not.stand! (I mean putting them up, not looking at other people's work.) This year I bought two lighted trees for front door, hoping to satisfy the family's need for decor. They aren't happy, but so far I've managed to stall them.

Keep warm!
