Photostory Friday... craptastic day...

It's just one of those days. The house is a wreck for reasons I cannot even begin to explain. There is at least 3" of fresh snow this morning and it's still snowing. And to top it off, my boy is sick. We've all had it, so it's only fair that he gets a turn, too. Luckily, this sickness consists of just feeling like crap for about 24 hours. Hopefully by tomorrow he'll be back to his chipper old self. In the meantime, though, he's bored. He doesn't really feel like getting up and playing his computer. He doesn't want to watch baby cartoons. The only other source of entertainment is his mp3 player and... the cat.

The cat is a funny critter. She, unlike my inlaws cat, loves loves loves to be brushed. She's normally a mellow, quiet cat until she spies her brush and then it's all over with. She will be your best friend forever. It's not just her brush even, if she see's you brushing your own hair with a regular hair brush, she is all over you like white on rice. It's obnoxious, if you want the honest truth.

But he needs some entertainment, so he got out her brush and she went wild and crazy. He even found her sweet spot - the one that makes her lick you. He's one tasty boy!
My craptastic day, though... was made better when I read this post from My chaos is bliss. Savor the little things. Even if it involves being licked by the cat.

Now I'm off to excuse him from school so he doesn't have detention like he got last time when I forgot. He'd appreciate me for that one!
