Today, I'm not even complaining....

I turned my laptop on this morning to discover the blue screen of chkdsk scan going on once again. I cussed, and sighed, and said, you know, it's okay. The first thing I do every single morning is log on to the internet and go through my homepage, e-mails, facebook, my message board, and google reader. It's my version of drinking my morning coffee. Just can't function without it.

Today? Zero desire.

Why? Because yesterday I sat in my big ole comfy chair and designed about 25 scrapbook pages for this photo book I'm making for my mom. When I shut my computer off last night finally at around 11:00, I was exhausted. I dreamt all night of scrapbook pages. When I was finally able to drag my butt out of bed this morning at 7:15, I walked right past my laptop without a second thought! It wasn't until I'd drank a cup of cocoa, helped Ishee reorganize her backpack, did hair, put the kids on the bus, fed the cat and the fish, did a load of laundry, and loaded the dishwasher that I even considered turning on my computer, not expecting whatsoever to find the blue screen of scanning going on again.

I figure it has another 2 hours to go on this scan. That might be just enough time to paint the trim in the dining room for reals today. I never thought I'd see the day when "I" suffer from computer burnout. Turns out... it can happen... and it's kind of nice.

Hope it works for you later! I totally get computer burn outs all the time! Especially after doing geneology for a few straight days.
