Ordered...

WOW! What a fun ride it was creating a tribute book to my mother for her 80th birthday. I had some 400 pictures to work with, digitally scrapped onto 95 pages, arranged, and uploaded to blurb.com for printing. I am so elated to be done, and elated to see it when it arrives in about 10 business days (I hope). I'm going with my sisters to St. George (where my parents to for the winter) over Valentines day (much to my husbands chagrin) and plan to take the book with me for her birthday (which happens to be on Valentines day, thus the reason we are going then).

This past weekend, I shoveled the snow off the porch while the husband and kids built a snowman (loads of pics on my other blog), and I "knew" I shouldn't be doing it because it was so heavy and while it didn't hurt my back then, I just had a feeling that it would. I was right. Monday night... all I did was move, and yep, there it went. I don't know that I'm throwing it out, really, it just hurts in the same spot it always does SO MUCH I can barely move. Sadly, my husband was cleaning out the medicine cabinet last month and accidentally threw my back pain pills away (meaning, he flushed them... he thought they were something else).

So today, I'm just laying around taking it easy, doping up on aleve and hoping I can move tonight when I go to young womens. The kids are out for a "freeze your butt off cold" day (it was around 20 below zero this morning), so they are waiting on me hand and foot. It's kind of nice. I jsut hope I can convince them to fold laundry and fix dinner, too.
