~Sunday morning sunrise~
And that is pretty much where it ended.
I didn't intend to stop taking a picture a day. Life just got crazy for a few days and my camera kind of got forgotten about. It happens.
The economy finally caught up to us this past week and my husband, along with 1250 other people from across the nation got laid off from their jobs as pharmaceutical drug reps. It's been exciting in a scary sort of way. He was ready for a change and we are excited as to what the future holds for us, but we're also scared because we don't really know what the future holds. We have faith that this is a good thing, it will all work out and ultimately be the best thing that could have happened to us. He's smart. He's educated. He's experienced. He's good with people. He's honest. He's a hard worker. He's handsome. Somewhere out there is the perfect company just waiting for someone like him to come along. We just need to find it.
In the meantime, my poor husband isn't sure what to think about staying home all day with nobody to talk to except the cat. He is, however, getting up close and personal with a pretty tight space... he gutted the kids bathroom this week. Toilet. Sink. Faucet. Counter tops. Floors. It's all very exciting. I just hope there's not going to be any painting involved since he doesn't paint and I got my "fix" a few weeks ago when I painted the kitchen. I'm over it, thankyouverymuch.

I'm sorry to hear about the layoffs that happened -- we've been through it and it can be rough the first few days dealing with the unknown. You have a great long term perspective. You are both there supporting each other and that helps.
