Every once in awhile, my husband takes a really boring business trip to Sun Valley. I hadn't been there in over 25 years, so I decided it was high time for me to personally go and see just what it was that attracts the rich and famous like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis to inhabit this place on occasion.
Honestly? I still don't get it.
Is it the swans in the pond singing happy songs?
The Sun Valley Pavillion?
The year round ice skating rink?
Or it could be the same reason my husband goes there when he isn't working. Golf.

A couple hours of work later, we drove an hour and a half south to Twin Falls for a couple more hours of work.
The river is high, the waterfalls UNREAL. WOW! I bet you can't guess what "W" is going to stand for next week.
We had dinner at an amazing restaurant called "Elevation 486", which is located on the edge of the canyon, exactly 486 feet above the river. The view was almost as good as the food. Almost.
have some lettuce wraps at PF Changs,
a walk around the Gateway Mall,
torture the cute husband at Tai Pan Trading and Hobby Lobby,
spend a wad at Ikea,
consume the worlds best fudge from Cabelas,
and watch X-Men: First Class.
Oh, and get our computer fixed. Thanks again, James.
WITHOUT ANY CHILDREN!!!

You are a lucky girl, and Sun Valley looks absolutely sublime! Viva vacations!!!!
Hmmm, I think I could manage to amuse myself in Sun Valley. Its nice you could go with your honey an a vaca... sans kiddos ....
Everyone needs that sometimes.
Jealous, you actually get a vacation. For fun we might just go out and sit in the yard, kid free, and watch the soccer or t-ball games. I like your vacation better, even if there was some work involved.
A vacation is when hubby cooks dinner !

What a great vacation. I have a fridge magnet that says "We take our kids everywhere, unfortunately they keep finding their way back"
