Yep, you read that right.
School's. Out. For. Summer.
For me, anyway. The girls have school until the end of the week. The boy is out on Wednesday. It's amazing what the high school will bribe the students with to get them to be on time to school. No finals. Really.
I, as of last Friday, am done for the year.
Exciting, isn't it?
In the meantime...
The girls brought home their school pictures long enough for me to check them out and send them back since I consider myself talented enough to do the very same thing for practically nothing.

I wanted to give my mother in law a new picture for her mantle of all her grandchildren, but thanks to a very ornery mother nature, it just hasn't happened. Instead, we got her a new frame with a drawing of all her grandchildren done by my super talented 14 year old and the promise of a real photograph. Soon.

Rain, and more rain. I went to the doctor for a checkup and the blood tests results said I was severely lacking in Vitamin D3... the vitamin you get from the sun. Really? How could this be?

Ishee discovered baby birds in the lilac bush. I don't think there is a baby in the world quite as ugly as a baby bird. Or is there?

Ishee finally finished her Idaho History Project. It nearly did me in working on this with her, only because she found it much more exciting to hound me about working on it than actually working on it. She decided she couldn't have just a poster board with pictures and the history of the ghost town of Gilmore, she had to have a model, which of course, being the good mom that I am, I helped her make one. She wasn't sure about the strings of glue until I told her they were cobwebs. It is a ghost town after all.

your mindless dribble was fun today. We always like the end of school too. I loved the bird shot.
