Oh wait, I do have a new hobby. I've taken up indexing. It's all the rage right now in our stake and after they taught my kids how to do it a few weeks ago at mutual, I decided to be a good mom and learn how to do it as well because it just ain't right that they can do something I can't. My kids found it rather boring, but I, however, did not, and have already indexed over 300 names in one week. Will I reach my goal of doing 1000 before January 1, 2012? Me thinks I can. Even if I do reactivate my Facebook account.
My 18 month old vacuum decided to pitch a fit and try to die on me. I am the queen of destroying appliances so you shouldn't be surprised. The super cute husband took it apart, gave it a heck of a good beating, put it back together and now it works. Go figure. Me thinks I might just keep him around.
The cats got into another fight and the kitten was left with another festering disgusting weepy wound, this time on her behind. We opted out of yet another $200 vet bill and decided to let her tough it out and cleaned her wound with peroxide - which is no easy task. She only argued a little. For heavens sake, Toby, outdoor cats fight all the time and live through it without veterinary medicinal intervention so quit-cher-whinin, and get to licking and for heavens sake, stay out of my underwear for your naps, that's just nasty. Me thinks she will prolly live.
We asked grandma (aka - Mother in law) to ask great grandma (aka - grandma) if she would pretty please with sugar on top adopt our old fat calico pig like cat... in other words, save her life since we've just about had it with her and her bullying. The girls, who can't even stand the old fat calico bully/pig/cat, pitched a fit like no other because suddenly they LOVE her too much to part with her old fat bullying piggyish catness attitude. Me thinks they may not get a say in the matter if the old fat calico pig doesn't quit beating up the kitten.
The kitten has taken up a new residence... on top of the curio cabinet. I gave up trying to keep her off, removed all the cute decor and put a blanket up there for her to sleep on. Me thinks I'm a pushover. Plus, the calico pig can only dream of beating her up when she's up there.
We started playing a new game (dominoes was getting old). Clue. The new version. So far... the super cute husbands character has done it EVERY SINGLE TIME. And so far I have lost EVERY SINGLE TIME. Me thinks I hate it.
Me also thinks I need to find something or someone to take a picture of... like a new baby... me thinks tomorrow I might just go find one right after I get a haircut. TTFN!
