I believe life is a tad chaotic right now... but I still took time to take a few pictures...

If I didn't see them with my own eyes, I wouldn't believe the beautiful sunrises we've been having lately. I wish I wasn't seeing them at all, but until I convince the school that they don't need to start until 10 a.m. or so... that's life.

We went sledding (and by "we", I mean, the husband took the kids and the super cute next door niece sledding) ...

Ummmm....
My Christmas tree has yet to be knocked over by the cat because she has moved on to bigger and better things...

Such as sleeping in the top of my closet. We're not sure how she gets up there, but lets just say my husbands suit coats show evidence of claw marks. *sigh*

I had to rearrange some of my decor after she kept trying to climb on top of the curio cabinet to eat the fake grass in my nativity scene.

I found (and purchased - obviously) a super cute star shaped snowflake on one of my many trips to the craftstore...

I went to our formerly known as Enrichment Relief Society meeting where the super cute Holly of
Scatter Sunshine taught us how to make these super cute hair bows. My girls are not huge fans of hair bows, but I made some anyway and I even wore one to school this week. It got rave reviews from a couple of fourth graders and made my whole day.

We also put together these awesome vinyl on tile nativities that another super talented lady came up with ...

I finished the rag quilt I was making. I could tell you who it's for, but then I'd have to kill you. My mother in law decided that she wanted to make one and bought all the supplies and I keep waiting for her to ask me to sew it together for her like she keeps hinting. If I wanted to save my father in laws life (and probably hers), I'd just offer. I think I'll let her sweat it out for a few more days first.

And lastly... I finished the skirts for my girls for Christmas. I had this hair-brained idea to make a stripedy skirt out of some of my super cute husbands old jeans, and I think it turned out so cute, especially after I appliqued on a couple of flowers for some color.

Tried something new with Ishee's skirt, too... ricrac... which is kind of a pain, but super cute...

And I even tried out one of the super cute stitches that my sewing machine does (and yes, those are pleats because I would way rather do pleats than gathers any day!).

And that's just this week.
Now just need to make one more skirt for my niece, some matching hairbows for all the girls, hairbows for my girls friends, painting a "Merry Christmas" sign from Relief Society meeting, put together and deliver visiting teaching/teacher/boss gifts, load pictures on a digital photo frame, mail Christmas cards, finish Christmas shopping, wrap presents, make caramels and... I will almost be ready for Christmas. I think.
