So we brought them home and I ho'd and hum'd about where to put it and what color to paint the shelf so it matched the rest of the bathroom (which is mostly white), when I came up with the brilliant idea of not putting the shelf in the bathroom at all, but instead to put it above the bed, and move the current smaller shelf into the bathroom.

52 Photowalks - Week 20
Recently, when we were in Salt Lake City at Tai Pan Trading, one of my favorite stores, we came across these beautiful wrought iron shelf brackets. The husband talked me into buying them, saying he'd love to put a shelf up in the bathroom somewhere. That's exactly what happened cause like, I didn't want them at all, it was all him. Really. (ha!)
The husband totally picked out these beautiful red cherry blossoms to accent it with... really.
He also picked out these awesome red pillows. What can I say? I'm a lucky wife to have a husband with such great taste!
And then he hung the other shelf in the bathroom. Hopefully one of these days I'll even convince him to finish the remodeling project he started a year and a half ago. There's no hurry, though... the half painted walls are starting to grow on me.
Now if I could just keep this fat bast... I mean, our lovely, sweet, beautiful, full grown calico "pig" of a cat off my bedspread since she keeps snagging it, I'll be set!
