To truly understand this picture, you'd have to know the girl. This is my five year old neice and she is the funniest little girl I know. Yesterday, I asked her if I could take her picture. She very reluctantly agreed. I asked her to give me a big smile and she said "but my smile is broken, see..." She took her fingers and she lifted the edge of her mouth, but it just wouldn't move. She is the silliest girl I know!

Her smile was broken because she was being silly and didn't want to smile for me. So she couldn't smile because - it was broken!
