You capture - Nature

I really really wanted to get out and show you the real "nature" of the area, but with skies like this EVERY DING DONG DAY for the last two weeks and according to the weather channel, it's not changing anytime soon - you get whatever I can find in the yard, which as luck would have it, wasn't hard.
The sticks on the ground from a bad wind and hail storm we had last Friday night.

Columbine and Iris...
Beans... which were damaged pretty good by our hail storm, but managed to come out of it.

Potatoes...

LOOK! I have a tomato!!!
I wish you could smell this variagated iris - I'm trying to convince my sister in law who works for a local cosmetics company to bottle this smell - she's working on it.
I think a purple iris crossed with a yellow iris - I don't remember seeing this color before.
Oh yeah, may not be totally obvious to you but this branch is in another tree...
Looks like we need to find us a ladder and a chainsaw.
My peonies are going to bloom - maybe...
This rainbow is a reminder that it won't rain forever, even though I'm pretty sure it's going to. And yes, the sky was pretty much the color of mud.
Enjoying our new firepit between rain storms...
Columbine that grows like weeds in my flowerbeds...
The plum blossoms are looking a little rough (we didn't get any apple blossoms or lilacs this year - too cold and windy - they either froze or blew away or both).
The prickly pine boughs fit right in around here...
The most obnoxious horse in the world - which is why he is so appropriately named Joker! Geez, Joker, step back a little!
And finally - little purple pansies touched with yellow gold - which I could remember the rest of that song.
