Friday was field trip day, which meant 150 or so second graders were allowed to run screaming and yelling around our local small zoo and museum while various teachers, aids, and mom's yelled their names and reminded them to stay together and to please stop touching the glass. Despite the headeache they gave me (which I'm actually blaming on my head cold), I do enjoy going. Riding on a big yellow bus just brings back all sorts of memories!
My best shot of the day was about the only time I could convince them to stay together and HOLD still while checking out the lions. Five cute, ornery, sassy, bored, and giggly 8 year olds.
Just for the record, the Titanic display at the museum - not the most interesting place to take a bunch of second graders.

I can SO relate to the challenge of getting kids to stay still for a picture. You got a cute one, though!
