Around here, get exactly two days off from school. Friday and Monday. That's not a lot of time to do anything fun, fantastic, or exciting, especially when we kind of need to be around home for Easter lest we piss off grandma (she still hasn't forgiven us for going to Hawaii two years ago over Easter). But, we did get to do a few things:
1. We made and ate way too many chocolate covered marshmallow eggs...

2. We dyed Easter eggs...

3. We took a quick road trip to Utah for my nephews baptism...

4. My youngest got her toenails clipped by my sister (who made need a tetanus shot now) in the car on the way down, then she proved to us how flexible she is by chewing on her toes ....

5. We reminded my poor picked on brother why he chooses to live 3 1/2 hours from the rest of us...

6. We went to church and enjoyed a beautiful Easter program in our fancy new duds (well, the kids had fancy new duds anyway)...

7. We went to grandma's house and visited with great-grandma, who came bearing gifts...

8. We had a massive Easter egg hunt - around 200 eggs for four kids...

9. The kids played with their new toys while the Ish ran around and did her best to hold her pants up...

10. Then we played a round of golf in the yard.

The last day of spring break we did nothing but sit around and moan from eating too much junk and clean up from the past three days of ginormous messes. We could quite possibly be the most boring people alive.

Your Easter weekend was WAY more exciting than ours! I took Aubrey to go see the Hannah Montana movie while Richard and Rick finished cutting the rest of the tile for our kitchen. Sunday we went to church. No candy, no Easter eggs. Nada. At least the weather was nice for you Easter egg hunt!
