I rather enjoy making "books". I've made several using Snapfish, and this spring I discovered Blurb when I made a photobook for my mom's 80th birthday and let me tell ya what, I'm in love! It's fantastic! So, it was so much fun, I decided another book was in order and I have the most perfect opportunity to do that in conjunction with mom and dad's 60th anniversary!
This book is going to be different than my other books I've done, which was devoted solely to my parents. This book is for their family. All - crap, I used to know how many - like - 80 or so of us will have at least one photo of themselves in this book. Us "kids" - we get to have more than one. Starting with our baby photos!
So today, I stopped over at the parents house only to discover they weren't there. Perfect. I went through the photo albums and snuck a bunch of pictures (sneaking them back will be the tricky part). Unfortunately, my scanner won't work with my new computer. So, I took pictures of pictures. Some of them turned out great, others, not so much. I need to kick some scanner butt tomorrow, me thinks. In the meantime, though, what better thing to share than a photo of me as I looked just a couple of years ago.

thanks for sharing
FYI: I remember clearly when color was invented. I was about 5. Of course that was long before you were thought of. LOL What a treat to not always live in a black and white world.
PS I think we are closer to 93 +.
wow - that is fantastic - my hubbies parents are coming up on 50 years!! I love to hear these things!
Cute! Such a cute baby pic! That'll be an awesome gift for them. Does this mean we have to get some pics taken?? :( Haven't since Cash was born.
What a great idea! For my parents' 50th last year we did a surprise party and slide show set to a song my dad wrote for my mom.
