Meet Buddy...
Some people may claim that Pit Bull dogs are gentle and sweet and loving and yadda yadda yadda. But, I'd rather ask my little neice Kenzie who has first hand knowledge (unfortunately) that not all Pit Bulls are gentle and sweet and loving.
Buddy is my neighbor. His owner, a 19 year old boy, likes to think that buddy is sweet and gentle and loving. That's why he is allowed to roam the neighborhood like he owns it. Thus far, Buddy seems to be sweet and gentle and loving. But, I also think the owners of the dog that bit my niece also thought it was sweet and gentle and loving. I don't trust him.
So Buddy's owner put up a nice little electric fence and strapped a shock collar to dear old Buddy to keep him in his yard after he heard us neighbors chasing him off for the four hundreth time. Buddy soon figured out that the pain from the shock collar only lasted a second or two, so the shock collar became pointless. *sigh* I just pray nobody at our house ever has to experience what Kenzie went through since it would seem that Buddy is here to stay. Until someone chases him off. Again.

Ugh! Why do people even OWN those kinds of dogs!? I'm still mad about the Kenzie attack every time I think about it! I'm with Ruthann... got a pellet gun??
