33

The number 33 is a very signifigant number right now. It's not my age, though I secretly wish it was. You see, there's this blogger who loves to read and write and one day she mentioned how many books she had read in a single year and I was blown away by the number. Absolutely, totally, and completely blown away! So, I decided to keep track myself and see just how many books I could read this year. First, it required a $50 library card because I couldn't afford to buy that many books. And secondly, it required me to do something I just haven't fully appreciated the last few years when I didn't have a library card - READ!

The number 33 is the number of books I read this year. For me, it is a REALLY impressive number! Granted, one of those 33 books I'm still working on and it is my goal to finish it before the new year (I've renewed it four times, the library is probably beginning to think I'm never returning it).

It's been FUN! I've read a lot of really good books I never knew existed and listened to a handful on CD and my MP3 player. It's been a great way to pass the time this past year, and I hope this year, I can read just as many.

Does my Math book and my biology book count? If so I think I read like 6 books. I know... I'm really slacking in the book department.
How come your library card is so much? Ours is free unless you loose it and then it cost maybe 10-15 dollars to replace it. In Casper it was free also. Weird.

Cuz I live in the sticks.... the city people don't pay anything for theirs, although, they do pay for it in city taxes, I guess. You probably do, too.

Way to go, Kris! I was just talking to my mom today, justifying why I spend the time I do writing reviews and mostly I do it because it's fun to set a goal and keep track. I've definitely noticed your reading this year and hope you keep it up. I'm always on the look out for books to read:)

I wasn't quite as good as you, I read 18+ and listened to 20+. I definetely have more listening time than reading.
