Not to be outdone...

This morning, I did my sister a favor and submitted her photos into the county fair. One of her photos really caught the attention of those checking in the photos, and I went, "Hu... what?" Okay, not really. Actually, I agreed with them. It was a gorgeous photo. One that I had, yes HAD yet to photograph. I don't get there as often as she does, though. I got boatloads of comments on my own photos, one in particular that they want me to submit to the state fair (as if I wanted to actually go), but I had to sit there and be totally bugged that I had not taken a picture of this place just up the street from me.

I left the fair, I went home, and this afternoon, I went to there to take my own photos... because I couldn't be outdone. Of coarse, I can't enter them in the fair or anything, but that's okay. There is always next year.

In the meantime, you get to enjoy some of the fruits of today's labor...

Love this one...

The only thing this needs is a gorgeous sunset... maybe another time...
I cannot stand in the middle of a rolling field of grain and not take a picture... I just can't...
Stay tuned tomorrow for the rest of the "photo shoot". Here's a sneak peek...

That last one is so awesome, the field, the mountain in the distance, the subjects are cute too! What a good eye.

We drove up past the temple when we were on the way home from the family reunion. We saw it while it was under construction, but this was the first time we'd seen it completed. So beautiful. Gorgeous pics!

Ohhh, those are great. I didn't realize how beautiful that temple is. You captured it great, and the one with your kids in the foreground is awesome.

Nice work.
