And the winners are....

Blue ribbons - 4
Red ribbons - 3
White ribbons - 2
Money earned - $18

I threw in some different ones than I said I would. I always do that... ask for your opinion then do my own thing. Actually, I found some photos in my stash in my craft room from my trip to Hawaii that I didn't enter last year... the sunset and water picture, so I decided to enter those rather than pay for different prints.

They (the entry people) loved the daisy picture in the corner as well as the horses eye, and hoped I would enter them in the state fair (if only I had the desire to actually GO to the state fair, I might would maybe consider it) and I'm told that some people even recognized my parents! They ought to of, though, since they've lived in this county for like... forever... and my dad is the guy who has cooked chicken for the county fair barbeque for like... forever... even if all you do see is the top of my dad's head.

Not bad for a rinky-dinky county gig where the judges wouldn't know a good picture if it bit them in the butt!

I'd just like to know how come they sit there and say two things:
1. "We love small pictures and wish more people would do them" and
2. "absolutely no glass will be accepted". Says that one right in the fair book!

Then the big hoity-toity winners are HUGE with glass framed photos. Cheater cheaters! Whatever! I got my money and I will still support our rinky-dinky county fair next year because that's what I like to do and if I don't support it, nobody will. Except my sister. Who is somewhat of a cheater cheater herself, but I was in on that one (we entered more photos under a different sisters name who doesn't live in this county using my parents address... they were her pictures, but I entered them...), so it's all good.

The girls considered themselves to be the real winners anyway, despite the fact that Ishee was disgusted at the white ribbon on her photo, I let them play on the fairgrounds play area... one of those last minute "we have to go to school in how many days" treats... since I never take them to playgrounds because I'm just not that nice! It's all good...

I can't believe the windmill one didn't win a blue! I LOVE that one! You done good! ;o) Love your new background! Is that a photo you took, also? Will you photograph Coby and Amy in PC?

I can't decide whether to be indignant that they let glass-framing rule-breakers win anyway, or amused that you and your sister cheated on the entry forms!
