SPT: The emblem of the land I love...

I took my cue from Lelly this week and stepped outside the box as well. As soon as I saw her post, I knew just what to photograph today!!!

What's more American than apple pie? I don't bake much, I certainly don't bake pies, I don't have any apples hanging around, and it's way too early in the season for anything but this: Thus, this is what you get!

The apple blossoms are plentiful this year. Given the mood mother nature has been in this spring, it's rather surprising, too.

It's just too bad the tree produces nothing but bite sized bitter green apples!

Oooh, you've GOT to enter the bee one in the fair . . . I love the texture in that one. VERY NICE, Kris! Can you get some good lilac shots? I love LILACS and can never get a picture that seems to capture them as well as I'd like.

I grow apples but the wasps eat them before I can get to them so I will just have to enjoy your pictures.
