Oh, way down south in Dixie land...

This weekend was right up there as being one of the best sister weekends I've had...

Where did I go? To St. George, Utah, to visit my parents who are down there for the winter.

Who went? Siblings 3, 4, 5, and me, #10. #6 was invited, but chose to stay home.

When? I left my home 11 a.m. Friday morning, we arrived in St. George, Utah roughly 9 p.m. that night. We then left St. George Utah at 10 a.m. on Monday morning, arriving home at approximately 9:15 that night.

What did we do?
Adjustments with Dr. Bob.
Experienced poor service at Burger King.
Butt chewings from Ishee... "why did you really take George? I was only kidding when I said you could take him."
Day 16
Slept on comfy air mattresses (is that an oxymoron?).
Where we slept
Snoring sisters!
French Toast Casserole.
Cold 90 second showers.
A refreshing walk around the 'hood.
The 'hood.
A session at the St. George temple.
St.George temple
Fielded phone calls from sibling 3's daughter M that went something like: "My water just broke." and "Nevermind, false alarm."
Lunch at a Chinese buffet. What's for dinner, now? Ha ha! Inside joke!
Toured the daughters of Utah pioneers museum.
DUP museum
Searched high and low for a bead store. Never found it.
Laid down a few pennies at Tai Pan trading (my new favorite store).
Paid a visit to Uncle Allen and met his new wife.
Mexican Dominoes.
Lovely huge cold sore.
More snoring.
Church.
Most excellent Sunday dinner. Comfort food!
Family home evening with the neighbors where the guest speakers were... my parents.
Mom and Dad
Heard the previously unknown and so fun story of my parents meeting and courtship (Have you ever heard of a chickoree?).
Shazam (a dice game).
Even more snoring, but too tired to care.
Dad made the bed.
Day 17
Slow service at "The egg and I".
More adjustments with Dr. Bob.
Gandolfo's.
A few more pennies dropped at Ikea. Day 18
And back home to thick fog and an Ishee who's first words were "MOMMY! I missed you. Where's my presents?"

My car now has over 1300 miles on it.

Sounds like a fun trip! I want to SEE what you got at Tai Pan and Ikea! I love the bed your Dad made, pretty quilt and wall hanging!

Did you get to go to the temple? If not, you MUST go and do a session at the Rexburg Temple for ME - k?

How did I miss that you went to the Temple - just reread and realized my error. Okay, so you still have to go and do a session at the Rexburg Temple for me! :)

When we heard you were going, I asked #2 if they wanted to go with. But then you would not have had anything to talk about on the long ride. Glad you had a fun time.
